INS's objective is to construct a new affluent ageing society in cooperation with people of every generation, by regarding elderly people's experiences and knowledge as valuuable human resources in our society, and utilizing them for society. 35 volunteers have been working for its establishment so far. The opening meeting is to be held at 1PM on Feb.26, at Ishinomaki Central Community Hall. From the initial stage of its activities, SCNS has been involved in discussions with INS members and advised them based on its experiences volunteering for 2 hospitals in Sendai. This kind of assistance is in line with SCNS's Objective to build up network among regional citizen's groups. Though the names are similar, INS works independently from SCNS, and cooperates with SCNS whennever needed.
